1 Timothy 4 v12:”Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” (NKJV) The youth is our future leaders and hope for continuity, the training they receive today is their bone of contention to make them better leaders.
THE CHURCH
Christ Avenue Chapel acknowledges the Lord’s universal church worldwide characterized by sound doctrine, Pentecostal worship, the five-fold ministry, loving relationships, Holy Spirit-inspired evangelism, anointed proclamation, and practical expression of the Christian faith.
THE SCRIPTURES
CAC accepts the full authority and plenary and verbal inspiration of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21). We hold it to be infallible and without error, as originally given by God (Psalm 19:7-11). All the beliefs and practices of the church are to have their basis in Scripture which is held to be the sole and sufficient rule in matters of faith and doctrine (Isaiah 8:20).
BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
HOLY COMMUNION
CAC acknowledges that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial service setting forth in a sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
SALVATION
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.
HOLY TRINITY
We believe that there is only one true God, eternally existent in the Holy Trinity, The three-in-one God, thus God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
SPIRITUAL GIFTS
We believe in the practical manifestations of all gifts of the Holy Spirit including the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
FUTURE EVENTS
We believe that the end of the world is coming, that on the last day, Christ will descend from heaven, and raise the dead from the grave, and that a separation will take place. The unbelievers will be given to everlasting punishment and the righteous to endless joy. This judgment will fix forever the final state of men in heaven and hell on the principles of God’s righteousness.

Christ Avenue Chapel women’s ministry also known as ‘PERSEVERANCE WOMEN MINISTRY’ centres on enriching women with the word of God to break free from personal, societal and environmental limitations to live an overcoming life. It is a vision of unity where tenacious women of all ages and cultural background desire to discover and fulfil their purpose in life as well as in the body of Christ. (1Cor. 9:24-25)
The vision of CAC men is to strengthen the family unit, hence in the family segment; we shall instruct our men on the heart of God concerning the human family. We will use biblical concepts to show our responsibility as men to love our wives as Christ loves the church, and to raise our children in an effective, godly manner. We will focus primarily on the examples set in Scripture and on proven modern-day examples to give inspiration.
Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates. At CAC we feel very privileged to have these beautiful children and we desire to enrich their lives in a thriving and loving children’s ministry. Our children are our future and it is just as important they receive ministry as well as adults.
